ATTACHMENT A: SCOPE OF SERVICES Introduction: MSA will complete a flood study for the approximately 300-acre area draining to the proposed Homemakers site. The purpose of the study is to evaluate existing drainage infrastructure in the watershed of the future Homemakers site and determine flows entering the site in existing conditions. This is anticipated to consist of storm sewer networks, a culvert under I-380, the Pinseekers basin, and the Homemakers basin. The study will be based on construction of a 1-Dimensional SWMM model using the most recent available aerial photo, LiDAR data, and available drainage system mapping and recent development plans provided by the City. We will determine the existing conditions of the drainage area identified above and determine what the allowable target runoff from Homemakers site will be. These numbers will be used to determine the size of the detention basins Homemakers will be installing as part of their development project. Refer to Attachment C for a map of the project area. Scope of Work: Hydrologic Model Construction - $5,000 • Delineate watersheds • Digitize impervious Area • Determine hydrologic input parameters Hydraulic Model Construction - $10,000 • Construct existing conditions model • Solve model for 2-, 10-, 25-, 100-yr 24 rainfall events. Complete Alternatives Analysis – $3,000 • Optimize solution(s) regarding Pinseekers basin • Determine proposed conditions flows for Homemakers Report - $2,000 • Prepare report • Prepare mapping Page 2 of 3 (Attachment A: Scope of Services) G:\13\13603\13603029\Contract\13603029 Task Order.docx
