______________________________________________________________________________ CITY OF TIFFIN CITY ADMINISTRATOR REPORT TO THE CITY COUNCIL August 1, 2025 • The North Park Road Project continues to be on schedule to have the first phase of the project open by the first day of school. There have been a couple of delays in paving with the recent weather but the target of August 25th remains in tact. • Just a friendly reminder that Rec Fest is next weekend, Saturday, August 9th. Flyers and ads are all over town, a radio ad is playing as well. As discussed previously, the event will be held in the open green space area between the New York and Ventnor buildings in the Park Place City Center. We are expecting a great turnout. Attached is a flyer of the event. Hope to see you all there! • National Night Out, sponsored by the Johnson County Sheriff’s Department, is scheduled for this Tuesday, August 5th, from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. in Deerview Park. This is a great community building event that promotes law enforcement partnerships within neighborhoods and the community. We continue to be appreciative of our local deputies organizing this event. • Work continues with the Special Census. The Mayor recorded a radio ad this week and the attached flyer has been put together for distribution as well. We will also discuss dates for hosting at least three Public Information Meetings on Tuesday night.
