RESOLUTION NO. 2025- 063 A RESOLUTION APPROVING A TRANSPORTATION AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF TIFFIN AND JOHNSON COUNTY AMBULANCE SERVICE WHEREAS, the City of Tiffin recognizes the importance of providing timely and professional emergency medical transportation services to its residents; and, WHEREAS, Johnson County Ambulance Service ( JCAS) has the capacity and expertise to provide such services within the jurisdiction of the City of Tiffin; and, WHEREAS, the City of Tiffin and JCAS have negotiated the terms of a transportation agreement to ensure the provision of ambulance services; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa: 1. That the City of Tiffin hereby approves the attached Transportation Agreement with Johnson County Ambulance Service. 2. That the Fire Marshal is authorized to execute said agreement on behalf of the City. 3. That this resolution shall take effect immediately upon its passage and approval. On the 3rd day of June, 2025, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Limkemann introduced RESOLUTION 063,A RESOLUTION NO. 2025- APPROVING A TRANSPORTATION AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF TIFFIN AND JOHNSON COUNTY AMBULANCE SERVICE and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Orris. Ayes: Limkemann, Havens, Orris, Olney, Schnedler. Nays: None,. Absent: None. Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Kasparek declared that RESOLUTION NO, 202, 063,A RESOLUTION APPROVING 5- A TRANSPORTATION AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF TIFFIN AND JOHNSON COUNTY AMBULANCE SERVICE to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
