RESOLUTION NO, 2024- 071 A RESOLUTION FOR THE SELECTION OF A CONSTRUCTION MANAGER AT RISK FOR THE TIFFIN RECREATION CENTER PROJECT Whereas, The City of Tiffin is going through the Construction Manager at Risk process for the Tiffin Recreation Center project; and, Whereas, Statement of Qualifications were submitted on November 5, 2024; and, Whereas, Proposals were submitted on November 12, 2024; and, Whereas, the Committee would like to make a recommendation to the City Council for the selection of a Construction Manager at Risk for the Tiffin Recreation Center Project, Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa, to approve the recommendation of Miron Construction as the Construction Manager at Risk for the Tiffin Recreation Center Project as supported by the attached evaluation summary. On the 19th day of November, 2024, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Limkemann introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2024- 071,A RESOLUTION FOR THE SELECTION OF A CONSTRUCTION MANAGER AT RISK FOR THE TIFFIN RECREATION CENTER PROJECT and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Orris. Ayes: Havens, Orris, Olney, Schnedler, Limkemann Nays: None Absent: None Whereupon five Council members werepresent and voted approval and Mayor Kasparek declared that the RESOLUTION NO. 071, 2024- A RESOLUTION FOR THE SELECTION OF A CONSTRUCTION MANAGER AT RISK FOR THE TIFFIN RECREATION CENTER PROJECT to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
