RESOLUTION NO. 2024- 065 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR AND CITY ATTORNEY TO SIGN THE EASEMENT AGREEMENTS AND ALL NECESSARY DOCUMENTS AND TAKE ALL NECESSARY ACTIONS TO SECURE THE EASEMENTS FROM PATRICK L. HAMMES, KAISER HOLDINGS, LLC, AND MARGARET ANN ROGERS, AS TRUSTEE OF THE MARGARET ANN ROGERS REVOCABLE TRUST DATED AUGUST 24, 2018, AS IT RELATES TO THE NORTH PARK ROAD IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT Whereas, The North Park Road Improvements Project will be let and constructed by the City of Tiffin; and, Whereas, The City of Tiffin desires to obtain the necessary easements described on the attached exhibits for the construction of said project, Now, therefore be it resolved that the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa, authorizes the City Administrator and City Attorney to execute the attached easement documents and to take all necessary actions to finalize the easements from Partrick L. Hammes, Kaiser Holdings, LLC, and Margaret Ann Rogers, as Trustee of the Margaret Ann Rogers Revocable Trust dated August 24, 2018, as it relates to the North Park Road Improvements Project. On the 15th day of October, 2024, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Limkemann introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2024- 065,A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR AND CITY ATTORNEY TO SIGN THE EASEMENT AGREEMENTS AND ALL NECESSARY DOCUMENTS AND TAKE ALL NECESSARY ACTIONS TO SECURE THE EASEMENTS FROM PATRICK L. HAMMES, KAISER HOLDINGS, LLC, AND MARGARET ANN ROGERS, AS TRUSTEE OF THE MARGARET ANN ROGERS REVOCABLE TRUST DATED AUGUST 24, 2018, AS IT RELATES TO THE NORTH PARK ROAD IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Orris. Ayes: Orris, Olney, Schnedler, Limkemann, Havens. Nays: None. Absent: None. Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Kasparek declared that RESOLUTION 065,A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY NO. 2024- ADMINISTRATOR AND CITY ATTORNEY TO SIGN THE EASEMENT AGREEMENTS AND ALL NECESSARY DOCUMENTS AND TAKE ALL NECESSARY ACTIONS TO SECURE THE EASEMENTS FROM PATRICK L. HAMMES, KAISER HOLDINGS, LLC, AND MARGARET ANNROGERS, AS TRUSTEE OF THE MARGARET ANN ROGERS REVOCABLE TRUST DATED AUGUST 24, 2018, AS IT RELATES TO THE NORTH PARK ROAD IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
