RESOLUTION NO. 2024- 050 A RESOLUTION TO AWARD THE BID FOR THE WATER. TREATMENT PLANT UPGRADE — ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT PROCUREMENT -- STANDBY GENERATOR AND ATS Whereas, the City Council of the City of Tiffin received bids on July 30, 2024, for the Water Treatment Plant Upgrade — Electrical Equipment Procurement; and, Whereas, the City Council has identified the lowest responsive, responsible bid; and, Whereas, the City Council wishes to award the bid for the standby generator and ATS and begin the contractual process, Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa, to authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to sign all necessary notices, documents and forms of contract as required and necessary to execute a contract with the lowest responsive, responsible bidder as identified and recommended by the Engineer as shown on the attached documents. On the 6th day of August, 2024, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Limkemann introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2024- 050,A RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID FOR THE WATER TREATMENT PLANT UPGRADE — ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT PROCUREMENT — STANDBY GENERATOR AND ATS and made a motion to approve. Motion seconded by Councilperson Orris, Ayes: Orris, Schnedler, Limkemann, Havens, Olney. Nays: None, Absent: None. Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Kasparek declared that RESOLUTION NO. 2024- 050,A RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID FOR THE WATER TREATMENT PLANT UPGRADE — ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT PROCUREMENT —STANDBY GENERATOR AND ATS to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
