RESOLUTION NO. 2023- 014 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE FY 2023- 2024 PROPOSED MAXIMUM PROPERTY TAX DOLLARS Whereas, Per Iowa Code Section 384. 15A,the City Council of the City of Tiffin has considered the attached FY 2023- 2024 proposed maximum property tax dollars for the affected levy total, and; Whereas, A notice concerning the proposed maximum property tax dollars was published as required and posted on the City' website and/ s or social media accounts as applicable, and; Whereas, A public hearing concerning the proposed maximum property tax dollars for affected levy total was held during the Regular City Council Meeting on February 21, 2023, at 7: 00 p. m. Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa that the maximum property tax dollars for the affected tax levies for FY 2023- 2024 shall not exceed $ 2, 605. 583, On the 21st day of February, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Havens introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2023- 014,A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE FY 2023- 2024 PROPOSED MAXIMUM PROPERTY TAX DOLLARS and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Orris. Ayes: Olney, Orris, Schnedler, Havens. Nays: None. Absent: Limkemann. Whereupon four Council members present and voted approval and Mayor Berner were declared that the RESOLUTION NO. 014, 2023- A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE FY 2022- 2023 PROPOSED MAXIMUM PROPERTY TAX DOLLARS to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
