RESOLUTION NO. 2021-048 A RESOLUTION SETTING THE OF DATE JULY 20, 2021, FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO AMEND THE TIFFIN ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 2007-287, SECTION 9.05, ACCESSORY BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES, TO ALLOW PRE-FABRICATED GARDEN SHEDS OF LESS THAN 100 SQUARE FEET IN A SIDE YARD Whereas, the City recognizes the need to amend the City Zoning Ordinance to allow for temporary, pre-fabricated garden sheds of less than 100 square feet in both the side and rear yards: and, Whereas, it is necessary to hold a public hearing to amend said ordinance, Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to set the date for a public hearing for July 20, 2021, to amend the Tiffin Zoning Ordinance No. 2007-287, Section 9.05, Accessory Buildings and Structures, to allow for pre-fabricated storage units of less than 100 square feet. On the 6th day of July, 2021, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Havens introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2021-048, A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE OF JULY 20, 2021, FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO AMEND THE TIFFIN ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 2007-287, SECTION 9.05, ACCESSORY BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES, TO ALLOW PRE-FABRICATED GARDEN SHEDS OF LESS THAN 100 SQUARE FEET IN A SIDE YARD and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Bartels. Ayes: Havens, Bartels, Olney, Schnedler, Limkemann Nays: None Absent: None Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner declared that the RESOLUTION NO. 2021-048, A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE OF JULY 20, 2021, FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO AMEND THE TIFFIN ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 2007-287, SECTION 9.05, ACCESSORY BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES, TO ALLOW PRE-FABRICATED GARDEN SHEDS OF LESS THAN 100 SQUARE FEET IN A SIDE YARD to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
