RESOLUTION NO. 2019-120 A RESOLUTION SETTING A DATE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO UPDATE THE WATER ORDINANCE TO ADDRESS THE WATER METER FEE Whereas, The City of Tiffin recognizes the need to amend its water ordinance to reflect the change in cost to the City for a new water meter for new construction, and; Whereas, the City Council of the City of Tiffin recognizes the requirement to hold a public hearing to amend a city ordinance, Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to set the Public Hearing for December 3, 2019. On the 19th day of November, 2019, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Bartels introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2019-120, A RESOLUTION SETTING A DATE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO UPDATE THE WATER ORDINANCE TO ADDRESS THE WATER METER FEE and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Upton. Ayes: Upton, Ryan, Schnedler, Havens, Bartels Nays: None Absent: None Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner declared that the RESOLUTION NO. 2019-120, A RESOLUTION SETTING A DATE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO UPDATE THE WATER ORDINANCE TO ADDRESS THE WATER METER FEE to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
