foot chord bears N73° 17'34"W; thence continuing along the center of Clear Creek N66°24'19"W a distance of 174.55 feet; thence continuing Northwesterly along the center of Clear Creek along a 457.28 foot radius curve, concave Northeasterly whose 204.21 foot chord bears N53°30'00"W to a point on the North Line of the Northeast ¼ of said Section 34 which is the point of beginning, containing 1.46 acres more or less and being subject to all easements and restrictions of record; EXCEPT for that portion of the above-described property conveyed to the State of Iowa for right of way at Book 5714, Page 404, records of the Johnson County Recorder, hereinafter “Tiffin Property.” to Central Iowa Power Cooperative (CIPCO) for $13,608.00 and Other Valuable Considerations in connection with its improvement of the Linn County Loop Project. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute aforesaid easement property to the Central Iowa Power Cooperative (CIPCO). On the 4th day of June, 2019, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Schnedler introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2019-060 – A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SALE AND CONVEYANCE OF AN EASEMENT FROM THE CITY OF TIFFIN TO CENTRAL IOWA POWER COOPERATIVE (CIPCO) FOR THE LINN COUNTY LOOP PROJECT and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Bartels. Ayes: Upton, Havens, Ryan, Schnedler, Bartels Nays: None Absent: None Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner declared that RESOLUTION NO. 2019-060 – A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SALE AND CONVEYANCE OF AN EASEMENT FROM THE CITY OF TIFFIN TO CENTRAL IOWA POWER COOPERATIVE (CIPCO) FOR THE LINN COUNTY LOOP PROJECT to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
