RESOLUTION NO. 2019-015 A RESOLUTION ENDORSING THE SURFACE TRANSPORTATION BLOCK GRANT (STBG) APPLICATION FOR THE NORTH PARK ROAD IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT Whereas, the City of Tiffin intends to upgrade and improve North Park Road in Tiffin; and, Whereas, the City Council of the City of Tiffin endorses the improvements project; and, Whereas, the City pledges the necessary local financial match; and Whereas, the City also guarantees to adequately maintain the completed project for its intended public use for a minimum of 20 years following the project completion, Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa, to officially endorse the North Park Road Improvements Project and the Surface Transportation Block Grant (STBG) application. On the 19th day of February, 2019, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Bartels introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2019-015, A RESOLUTION ENDORSING THE SURFACE TRANSPORTATION BLOCK GRANT (STBG) APPLICATION FOR THE NORTH PARK ROAD IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Upton. Ayes: Schnedler, Ryan, Havens, Bartels, Upton Nays: None Absent: None Whereupon five members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner declared that RESOLUTION NO. 2019-015, A RESOLUTION ENDORSING THE SURFACE TRANSPORTATION BLOCK GRANT (STBG) APPLICATION FOR THE NORTH PARK ROAD IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
