RESOLUTION NO. 2019-007 A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING TO AMEND ORDINANCE 2018-442, AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF EXISTING PARK ROAD IN TIFFIN, IOWA, TO INCLUDE A COMPLETION DATE FOR THE PRIVATE STREET Whereas, the City of Tiffin approved Ordinance 2018-442 on September 27, 2018; and, Whereas, the ordinance vacated a portion of existing Park Road upon certain contingencies being met; and, Whereas, the City Council would now like to amend a contingency of Ordinance 2018-442 to include a deadline of December 31, 2019, for the completion of the private street to be constructed. Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa, that a date for the Public Hearing is set for January 22, 2019, to discuss amending Ordinance 2018-442, an ordinance vacating a portion of existing Park Road in Tiffin, Iowa, to include a completion date for the private street. On the 8th day of January, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Upton introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2019-007, A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING TO AMEND ORDINANCE 2018-442, AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF EXISTING PARK ROAD IN TIFFIN, IOWA, TO INCLUDE A COMPLETION DATE FOR THE PRIVATE STREET VACATE CITY RIGHT-OF-WAY and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Havens. Ayes: Upton, Bartels, Havens, Schnedler Nays: None Absent: Ryan Whereupon four Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner declared that the RESOLUTION NO. 2019-007, A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING TO AMEND ORDINANCE 2018-442, AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF EXISTING PARK ROAD IN TIFFIN, IOWA, TO INCLUDE A COMPLETION DATE FOR THE PRIVATE STREET to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
