RESOLUTION NO. 2019-004 A RESOLUTION TO SET THE DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING TO AMEND THE SIGN REGULATION ORDINANCE TO REMOVE ADVERTISING SIGNS Whereas, the City of Tiffin, Iowa will set the date for a Public Hearing to potentially amend the Sign Regulation Ordinance to remover advertising signs; and, Whereas, the Planning & Zoning Commission has reviewed the ordinance and has recommended the changes at its December 19, 2018, meeting (attached). Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa, that the date for the Public Hearing is set for January 22, 2019, to discuss amending the sign regulation ordinance to remove advertising signs. On the 8th day of January, 2019, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Bartels introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2019-004, A RESOLUTION TO SET THE DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING TO AMEND THE SIGN REGULATION ORDINANCE TO REMOVE ADVERTISING SIGNS and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Havens. Ayes: Upton, Bartels, Havens, Schnedler Nays: None Absent: Ryan Whereupon four Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner declared that the RESOLUTION NO. 2019-004, A RESOLUTION TO SET THE DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING TO AMEND THE SIGN REGULATION ORDINANCE TO REMOVE ADVERTISING SIGNS to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
