Themotion was seconded byCouncilperson Bartels. APPROVING THE PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT, THE FOREVERGREEN ROAD CONSTRUCTION PROJECT AND RETAINING ANENGINEER, APPRAISER AND ATTORNEY WHEREAS, apublic hearing was held onNovember 20, 2018 ontheintent toacquire or condemn ifnecessary aportion ofproperty and/oraninterest inproperties forthepublic improvement, TheForevergreen Road Construction Project. WHEREAS, persons interested intheproject presented their views regarding theproposed public improvement, The Forevergreen Road Construction Project, andregarding theproposed acquisition ofproperty forthe public improvement, TheForevergreen Road Construction Project. Asaresult ofthehearing and public input thereon, theTiffin City Council hereby RESOLVES toproceed with theproject. ITISFURTHER RESOLVED that theCity ofTiffin will: A. Retain MMS Consultants, Inc.todevelop the site-specific design oftheproject and make thefinal selection oftheroute oftheproject. B. Retain MRS Appraisals LLC tomake anappraisal todetermine thejust compensation, damages asrequired bylaw. C. Retain Cook Appraisal tomake areview oftheappraisal ofMRS Appaisals LLC. D. Retain Robert W. Goodwin ofGoodwin Law Office, P.C.,toassist theCity of Tiffin inthecondemnation process. E. Designate Doug Boldt, Tiffin City Administrator astheContact Person forthe owners tocontact inregard tothispublic improvement project. 1
