Whereas,theCityofTiffin, Iowa willbechanging itscurrent method ofpicking upand
billing solid waste andrecycling through Johnson County Refuse, and;
Whereas,theCity Council desires toamend thesolid waste ordinance toreflect such
changes.
Now,thereforebeitresolvedbytheCityCouncil oftheCityofTiffin, Iowa, thatthe
date forthePublic Hearing issetforJune 19,2018, todiscuss andamend thesolid
waste ordinance.

Councilperson Upton introduced RESOLUTIONNO.2018-061,ARESOLUTION
SETTINGTHEDATEFORAPUBLICHEARINGTOAMENDTHEMUNICIPALCODE
OFTIFFIN,IOWA,CHAPTER106,COLLECTIONOFSOLIDWASTE, TOREFLECT
NEWAUTOMATEDSOLIDWASTEANDRECYCLINGSYSTEMSANDRATE
STRUCTURE andmade amotion forapproval. Motion seconded byCouncilperson
Schnedler.
Ayes: Upton, Bartels, Havens, Ryan, Schnedler
Nays: None
Absent: None
Whereupon fiveCouncil members were present andvoted approval andMayor Berner
declared thattheRESOLUTIONNO.2018-061,ARESOLUTIONSETTINGTHEDATE
FORAPUBLICHEARINGTOAMENDTHEMUNICIPALCODEOFTIFFIN,IOWA,
CHAPTER106,COLLECTIONOFSOLIDWASTE,TOREFLECTNEWAUTOMATED
SOLIDWASTEANDRECYCLINGSYSTEMSANDRATESTRUCTUREtobeadopted
andsignified hisapproval ofthesame byaffixing hissignature thereto.
