WASTEANDRECYCLINGCOLLECTIONSERVICESBETWEENTHECITYOF
TIFFINANDJOHNSONCOUNTYREFUSE
Whereas,theCityCouncil oftheCityofTiffin, Iowa thecollection of
solid waste andrecycling services, and;
Whereas,theCityCouncil selected Johnson County Refuse asthesolid waste and
recycling provider, and;
Whereas,theCityCouncil desires toenter intoanAgreement (attached) fortheabove
listed services, and;
Whereas,
regarding saidagreement,
Now,thereforebeitresolvedbytheCityCouncil oftheCityofTiffin, Iowa, does
hereby approve theAgreement forResidential Solid Waste andRecycling Collection
Services withJohnson County Refuse.

Councilperson Schnedler introduced RESOLUTIONNO.2018-060,ARESOLUTION
APPROVINGTHEAGREEMENTFORRESIDENTIALSOLIDWASTEAND
RECYCLINGCOLLECTIONSERVICESBETWEENTHECITYOFTIFFINAND
JOHNSONCOUNTYREFUSE andmade amotion forapproval. Motion seconded by
Councilperson Havens.
Ayes: Upton, Bartels, Havens, Ryan, Schnedler
Nays: None
Absent: None
Whereupon fiveCouncil members were present andvoted approval andMayor Berner
declared thattheRESOLUTIONNO.2018-060,ARESOLUTIONAPPROVINGTHE
AGREEMENTFORRESIDENTIALSOLIDWASTEANDRECYCLINGCOLLECTION
SERVICESBETWEENTHECITYOFTIFFINANDJOHNSONCOUNTYREFUSE to
beadopted and signified hisapproval ofthesame byaffixing hissignature thereto.
