Whereas,theState ofIowa haspassed newrules andregulations inreference tothe
sale offireworks within Iowa; and,
Whereas,theCityCouncil willneed toamend itscurrent ordinance toaddress
temporary selling structures within theindustrial park inthecitylimits,
Now,thereforebeitresolvedbytheCityCouncil oftheCityofTiffin, Iowa, thatthe
date forthePublic Hearing issetforApril 17,2018, todiscuss anordinance
amendment.

Councilperson Upton introduced RESOLUTIONNO.2018-035,ARESOLUTION
SETTINGTHEDATEFORAPUBLICHEARINGREGARDINGFIREWORKS
REGULATIONSandmade amotion forapproval. Motion seconded byCouncilperson
Schnedler.
Ayes: Upton, Bartels, Havens, Schnedler.
Nays: None.
Absent: Ryan.
Whereupon Four Council members were present andvoted approval andMayor Berner
declared thattheRESOLUTIONNO.2018-035,ARESOLUTIONSETTINGTHEDATE
FORAPUBLICHEARINGREGARDINGFIREWORKSREGULATIONStobeadopted
andsignified hisapproval ofthesame byaffixing hissignature thereto.
