RESOLUTION NO. 2017-131 A RESOLUTION SETTING A DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING TO AMEND THE FINAL PLATTING PROCESS WITHIN THE SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE Whereas, the City Council has discussed with city staff the possibility of making changes to the City’s final platting process within its subdivision ordinance, and; Whereas, the Planning and Zoning Commission has also discussed this possibility and recommended the attached changes at its December 13, 2017, meeting; Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to set the date of public hearing to potentially amend the final platting process within its subdivision ordinance for January 2, 2018. On the 19th day of December, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Ryan introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2017-131, A RESOLUTION SETTING A DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING TO AMEND THE FINAL PLATTING PROCESS WITHIN THE SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Bartels. Ayes: Upton, Bartels, Haven, Ryan, Kahler Nays: Absent: None Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner declared that the RESOLUTION NO. 2017-131, A RESOLUTION SETTING A DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING TO AMEND THE FINAL PLATTING PROCESS WITHIN THE SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
