Thedate fortheopening andpublic reading ofbidsfortheProject issetfor November 2,2017, at2:00p.m.and, 2. Thedate forconsideration ofbids fortheProject bytheCityCouncil issetat November 7,2017, at7:00P.M.and willbeacted upon atsuch time and place oratsuch timeandplace asmaythen beset. 3. That theCity Council hereby directs theCity Administrator/Clerk tohave published theNotice toBidders ofthebidletting fortheProject byposting at least once, notlessthan thirteen (13)andnotmore than forty-five (45)days prior tothedate setforreceipt ofbids, ineach ofthefollowing three places: (i) inarelevant contractor plan room service withstatewide circulation; (ii)ina relevant construction lead generating service with statewide circulation; and iii)onaninternet sitesponsored byeither theCityorastatewide association thatrepresents theCity. rd Onthe3dayofOctober, 2017, ataregular meeting oftheTiffin CityCouncil, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Ryan introduced RESOLUTIONNO.2017-096,ARESOLUTION SETTINGTHEDATESFOROPENINGOFBIDSANDAUTHORIZINGPUBLICATION OFNOTICESFORTHECONSTRUCTIONOFTHE2017PHASE2WASTEWATER TREATMENTPLANTIMPROVEMENTSPROJECTandmade amotion forapproval. Motion seconded byCouncilperson Havens. Ayes: Upton, Bartels, Havens, Ryan, Kahler. Nays: None. Absent: None.
