RESOLUTIONNO.2017-062 ARESOLUTIONOFSUPPORTOFTHEAPPLICATIONOFHUNTCLUBLC,PHASES 1-4,ANDFORFUNDINGVIATHEWORKFORCEHOUSINGTAXCREDITPROGRAM ANDAPPROVINGAPROPERTYTAXABATEMENTFORSAIDPROJECT Whereas,Hunt ClubLC, hasmade anapplication totheIowa Economic Development Authority forfunding forPhase Iofahousing project viatheWorkforce Housing TaxCredit Program; and Whereas,aspartoftheapplication process, theCity Council isrequired toprovide a resolution ofsupport fortheapplication; and Whereas,theCitywillalsoprovide monetary support forthisProject. Now,thereforebeitresolvedbytheCityCouncil ofTiffin, Iowa, thattheCityofTiffin supports theapplication ofHunt Club LC,Phases1-4,toobtain funding viatheWorkforce Housing TaxProgram. Beitfurtherresolved,thattheCityCouncil willapprove a10-year, 50%Property Tax Abatement fortheHunt ClubLC, Phases1-4Project, once theimprovements have been completed andfound toqualify fortheabatement pursuant totheamended andrestated Urban Revitalization Plan. th Onthe15day ofAugust, 2017, ataregular meeting oftheTiffinCityCouncil, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Havensintroduced RESOLUTIONNO.2017-062,ARESOLUTIONOF SUPPORTOFTHEAPPLICATIONOFHUNTCLUBLC,PHASES1-4,FORFUNDING VIATHEWORKFORCEHOUSINGTAXCREDITPROGRAMANDAPPROVINGA PROPERTYTAXABATEMENTFORSAIDPROJECTandmade amotion forapproval. Motion seconded byCouncilperson Kahler. Ayes: Upton, Kahler, Ryan, Havens, Bartels Nays: None. Absent: None. Whereupon FiveCouncil members were present andvoted approval andMayor Berner declared thatRESOLUTIONNO.2017-062,ARESOLUTIONOFSUPPORTOFTHE APPLICATIONOFHUNTCLUBLC,PHASES1-4,FORFUNDINGVIATHE WORKFORCEHOUSINGTAXCREDITPROGRAMANDAPPROVINGAPROPERTY TAXABATEMENTFORSAIDPROJECTtobeadopted andsignified hisapproval ofthe same byaffixing hissignature thereto. th Passed bytheCityCouncil onthe15day ofAugust, 2017.
