AGENDA ITEM # K-4 AGENDA INFORMATION TIFFIN CITY COUNCIL COMMUNICATION DATE: February 11, 2026 AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of Pay Application #12 – Rathje Construction – Original Town Urbanization ACTION: Motion Background The City of Tiffin continues progress on the Original Town Urbanization – Phase 3 improvements under project HFC#12218.131. Work includes roadway reconstruction, storm sewer installation, water main improvements, sidewalk and paving work, and other associated public infrastructure. The pay estimate was prepared and certified by Hart-Frederick Consultants P.C. on December 16, 2025. This revised pay estimate reflects quantities and work completed between November 1 and November 30, 2025. Recommendation Staff recommends approval of Pay Estimate No. 12 (Revised) to Rathje Construction Co. in the amount of $222,695.29 for work completed through November 30, 2025 on the Original Town Urbanization – Phase 3 project.
