DocuSign Envelope ID: 10774661- AC75- 4B6B- 9F9D- 4718D318DB46 RESOLUTION NO. 2017- 020 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR AND CITY ADMINISTRATOR/ CLERK TO SIGN THE REAL ESTATE PURCHASE AGREEMENT AND ALL NECESSARY DOCUMENTS AND TAKE ALL NECESSARY ACTIONS FOR THE PURCHASE OF PROPERTY AND EASEMENTS FROM ADAM AND JACQUELINE BRANDT AS IT RELATES TO THE RECONSTRUCTION OF PARK ROAD Whereas, The City of Tiffin desires to purchase real estate and obtain easements described on the attached exhibits; and, Whereas, the City of Tiffin wishes to make an offer and other contingencies for such real estate and easements also shown as an attachment to this resolution. Now, therefore be it resolved that the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa authorizes the Mayor and City Administrator/Clerk, to execute the attached offer and execute all necessary documents and to take all necessary actions to finalize the purchase of property and easements from Adam and Jacqueline Brandt as it relates to the reconstruction of Park Road. 4t" On the day of April, 2017, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Ryan introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2017- 020, A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR AND CITY ADMINISTRATOR/ CLERK TO SIGN THE REAL ESTATE PURCHASE AGREEMENT AND ALL NECESSARY DOCUMENTS AND TAKE ALL NECESSARY ACTIONS FOR THE PURCHASE OF PROPERTY AND EASEMENTS FROM ADAM AND JACQUELINE BRANDT AS IT RELATES TO THE CONSTRUCTION OF PARK ROAD and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Bartels. Ayes: Ryan, Bartels, Havens, Kahler, Upton. Nays: None. Absent: None. Whereupon Five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner declared that RESOLUTION NO. 2017- 020, A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR AND CITY ADMINISTRATOR/ CLERK TO SIGN THE REAL ESTATE PURCHASE AGREEMENT AND ALL NECESSARY DOCUMENTS AND TAKE ALL NECESSARY ACTIONS FOR THE PURCHASE OF PROPERTY AND EASEMENTS FROM ADAM AND JACQUELINE BRANDT AS IT RELATES TO THE CONSTRUCTION OF PARK ROAD to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto. 4t" Passed by the City Council on the day of April, 2017.
