DocuSign Envelope ID: 5CBAC541- 85DB- 4DE9- B7F6- C89EC0769338 RESOLUTION NO. 2016- 074 A RESOLUTION SETTING A DATE FOR PUBLIC HEARING FOR AMENDMENT TO THE PLANNED AREA DEVELOPMENT ( PAD) ORDINANCE Whereas, The City of Tiffin currently has a Planned Area Development ( PAD) ordinance, and; Whereas the City Council of the City of Tiffin recognized the need to update and improve the ordinance, and; Whereas, the City Council currently has a moratorium on any new PAD' s until the new ordinance is written, and; Whereas, the City has been working on the new ordinance, and; Whereas, the City Council of the City of Tiffin recognizes that it typically holds a public hearing prior to amending an Ordinance; Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to set a 3rd Public Hearing for the day of January 2017, at 7: 00 p. m. at City Hall. 6t" On the day of December, 2016, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Ryan introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2016- 074, A RESOLUTION SETTING A DATE FOR PUBLIC HEARING FOR AMENDMENT TO THE PLANNED AREA DEVELOPMENT ( PAD) ORDINANCE and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Havens. Ayes: Upton, Bartels, Havens, Ryan, Nays: None. Absent: Kahler. Whereupon Four Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner declared that the RESOLUTION NO. 2016- 074, A RESOLUTION SETTING A DATE FOR PUBLIC HEARING FOR AMENDMENT TO THE PLANNED AREA DEVELOPMENT ( PAD) ORDINANCE to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto. 6t" Passed by the City Council on the day of December, 2016.
