RESOLUTION NO. 2026-008 A RESOLUTION SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING DATE OF MARCH 3, 2026, ON ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 56 – DOG AND CAT LICENSES REQUIRED FOR THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA Whereas, the City of Tiffin is considering an ordinance amending Chapter 56 of the Tiffin Municipal Code relating to Dog and Cat Licenses Required; and Whereas, Iowa law requires that a public hearing be held prior to the adoption of amendments to municipal code ordinances; and Whereas, the City Council desires to set the date and time for such public hearing. Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa, that the Public Hearing to considerer the ordinance amending Chapter 56: Dog and Cat Licenses Required is hereby set for March 3, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. at the Tiffin Fire Station located at 211 Main Street, Tiffin, Iowa 52340; On the 17th day of February, 2026, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson ___ introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2026-008 A Resolution Setting a Public Hearing on Ordinance Amending Chapter 56 – Dog and Cat Licenses Required for the City of Tiffin, Iowa and made a motion for approval. Ayes: Nays: Absent: Whereupon ____ Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Kasparek declared that the RESOLUTION NO. 2026-008 A Resolution Setting a Public Hearing on Ordinance Amending Chapter 56 – Dog and Cat Licenses Required for the City of Tiffin, Iowa , to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
