RESOLUTION NO. 2013- 071 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE SALE OF 20' OF CITY -OWNED LAND LOCATED AT 429 DEERVIEW Whereas, The City recognizes that the Sale of City -Owned land/ property must be approved in a public setting and; Whereas the City Council of the City of Tiffin recognizes that the McKibbin' s have agreed to purchase said 20' of necessary City -owned land located behind their residence for the length of their entire property for the just compensation amount of 500; Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to approve the sale of said 20' necessary to make set -back requirements for a structure at 429 Deerview and for the Mayor and City Administrator/ Clerk to sign all necessary documents and Deed as required by law. 24th On the day of April, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Upton introduced Resolution No. 2013- 071, A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE SALE OF 20' OF CITY -OWNED LAND LOCATED AT 429 DEERVIEW and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Ryan. Ayes: Phillips, Upton, Bartels, Ryan, Kahler Nays: None. Absent: None. Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner declared that the Resolution No. 2013- 071, A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE SALE OF 20' OF CITY -OWNED LAND LOCATED AT 429 DEERVIEW to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
