19 CITY OF TIFFIN RESOLUTION NO. 2011- 48 RESOLUTION APPROVING PAYMENT TO METRO PAVERS, INC FOR TRAILS PHASE FOUR PAY ESTIMATE # 2 WHEREAS: City Council, awarded Metro Pavers, Inc. the contract for the construction of Trails Phase Four. Bid let by the Iowa Department of Transportation, STP— E- 7662( 609)- 8v- 52. WHEREAS: Metro Pavers, Inc. has now presented a partial payment for ( 38%) for the amount of payment for $25, 814. 28. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, BY The City Council of Tiffin, Iowa to authorize the Mayor and the City Clerk to make payment on the estimate # 2 and, sign appropriate forms. 12th At a regular meeting of City Council on the day of October 2011 Resolution 2011- 48 RESOLUTION APPROVING PAYMENT TO METRO PAVERS, INC FOR TRAILS PHASE FOUR PAY ESTIMATE # 2 was introduced by Councilperson Travis Weipert and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Jim Bartels. AYES: Chris Ball, Jim Bartels, Mark Petersen, Travis Weipert NAY: None ABSENT: Mike Gericke WHEREUPON with: Four votes for approval, Mayor Phillips now declares Resolution 2011- 48 RESOLUTION "APPROVING PAYMENT TO METRO PAVERS, INC FOR TRAILS PHASE FOUR PAY ESTIMATE # 2 passed and confirms this action by affixing his signature. a Passed and approved this 12th day October of 2011.
