CITY OF TIFFIN RESOLUTION NO. 2011 -48 RESOLUTION APPROVING PAYMENT TO METRO PAVERS, INC FOR TRAILS PHASE FOUR PAY ESTIMATE # 2 WHEREAS: City Council awarded Metro Pavers, Inc. the contract for the construction of Trails Phase Four. Bid let by the Iowa Department of Transportation, STP— E- 7662( 609) - 8V- 52. WHEREAS: Metro Pavers, Inc. has now presented a partial payment for ( 38 %) for the amount of payment for $ 25, 814. 28. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, BY The City Council of Tiffin, Iowa to authorize the Mayor and the City Clerk to make payment on the estimate # 2 and sign appropriate forms. 12th At a regular meeting of City Council on the day of October 2011 Resolution 2011 -48 RESOLUTION APPROVING PAYMENT TO METRO PAVERS, INC FOR TRAILS PHASE FOUR PAY ESTIMATE # 2 was introduced by Councilperson Travis Weipert and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Jim Bartels. AYES: Chris Ball, Jim Bartels, Mark Petersen, Travis Weipert NAY: None ABSENT: Mike Gericke WHEREUPON with: Four votes for approval, Mayor Phillips now declares Resolution 2011 -48 RESOLUTION APPROVING PAYMENT TO METRO PAVERS, INC FOR TRAILS PHASE FOUR PAY ESTIMATE # 2 passed and confirms this action by affixing his signature.
