RESOLUTION 2011- 07 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE WRITE- OFF OF UNCOLLECTIBLE UTILITY BAD DEBT Y' WHEREAS: The Utility Department needs authorization to write- off uncollectible bad debt, WHEREAS: Repeated' efforts have been attempted by the Utility Department to contact account holders of the delinquent accounts, WHEREAS: No efforts have been made to make payments on outstanding delinquent accounts, WHEREAS: and it has been determined by the Utility Department that accounts can not be set up to certify to Johnson County, Iowa for collection against property as allowed by law; 4 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT' RESOLVED BY THE CITY CODUNCIL OF TIFFIN, IOWA: to authorize Treasurer to write- off in the amount of 7, 300. 07 of uncollectible bad debt.
