Agenda Item: I-1 RESOLUTION NO. 2026-028 A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE OF MAY 19, 2026, FOR A PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE FY 2025-2026 BUDGET AMENDMENT Whereas, The City recognizes there should be a budget amendment to update the necessary revenues and expenses that have transpired in FY 2025-2026 that were not originally planned; Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to approve setting a public hearing date for May 19, 2026, for the Budget Amendment. On the 5th day of May, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson ___introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2026-028, A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE OF MAY 19, 2026, FOR A PUBLIC HEARING DATE FOR THE FY 2025-2026 BUDGET AMENDMENT and made a motion for approval. Nays: Absent: Whereupon __ Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Kasparek declared that the RESOLUTION NO. 2026-028, A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE OF MAY 19, 2026, FOR A PUBLIC HEARING DATE FOR THE FY 2025-2026 BUDGET AMENDMENT to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
