231 CITY OF TIFFIN ORDINANCE NO . 1999 - y AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1991- 171 ( ELECTED OFFICIALS COMPENSATION) OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF TIFFIN IOWA TO PROVIDE AN INCREASE IN THE ANNUAL COMPENSATION PAID TO THE MAYOR BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIFFIN IOWA: Section 1. Purpose . Amendment to Ordinance No . 1991- 171 to provide an increase in the annual compensation paid to the mayor. Section 2. Amendment : City of Tiffin Ordinance No. 1991- 171 Section IV Compensation of Mayor is hereby deleted and the following inserted in lieu thereof : Section IV. Compensation of Mayor. The Tiffin Mayor shall be paid $2 , 600 annually as compensation. In addition, the Mayor shall be paid compensation according to the following schedule: 20 for each additional meeting attended by the Mayor of the following groups, and other meetings not listed below which are necessary in conjunction with duties as mayor: Tiffin Planning and Zoning Commission Tiffin Board of Adjustment Tiffin Parks and Recreation Commission Johnson County Council of Governments Johnson County Civil Defense Johnson County Board of Supervisors Southeast Iowa Municipal League Section 3. Repealer. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
