On the l i t hday of June , 1997 at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, introduced Ordinance No. 199j_- 214 , and moved Iowa, Councilperson Bar t e l s that it be given its first reading. The motion was seconded by Councilperson Gericke Ayes: Brown, Walls , Bartels , Gericke and Kern Nays: None . Mayor Glen R. Potter Five members of the' council being present and having voted " Aye", declared the motion carried, and that Ordinance No. 199 7 - 214was read for the first time and placed on the record. Thereupon, it was moved by Councilperson Brown and seconded by Councilperson that the laws and rules providing that ordinances be considered Gericke and voted on for passage at two council meetings prior to the meeting at which it is to be finally dispensed- with that Ordinance No. 19 9 7 - 214 be placed on its passed by suspended and and last reading. Ayes: Bartels , Kern , Gericke , Walls Nays: None . Absent : Brown members of the council being present and having voted " Aye", Mayor Glenn R. Potter thereupon declared the motion to be carried, and Ordinance No. 19 97 - 214 was then placed upon its last reading and was read the last time. Thereupon, it was moved by Councilperson Walls and seconded by Councilperson Bartels that Ordinance No. 19 97 - 214 be placed upon its final passage and adopted. Ayes: Walls , Kern, Gericke and Bartels Nays: None . Absent : Brown F o u rmembers of the Council being present and having voted " Aye", Mayor Glen R. Potter declared the motion carried, and the Ordinance passed and adopted.
