CITY OF TIFFIN IOWA ORDINANCE NO. 1995- 198 AN AMENDMENT TO THE ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 83 TO PROVIDE FOR THE ZONING OF LOTS IN SONGBIRD ESTATES SUBDIVISION, TIFFIN, JOHNSON COUNTY, IOWA. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA: Section 1. Purpose: The purpose of this ordinance is to amend Ordinance No. 83 ( Zoning) to provide for the of Lots, 1 through 99, Songbird Estates appropriate zoning Subdivision, Tiffin, Iowa, and' to comply with the resolution which provided for the zoning of certain lands in the Songbird Estates Subdivision. Section 2. Amendment . The following shall be added to the comprehensive plan and zoning map of the City of Tiffin for Lots 1 through 99, in the Songbird Estates Subdivision, Johnson County, Iowa: Lots 1 through 99, shall be' zoned R- 1 . Section 3. Repealer. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Section 4. Severability. If any section, provision, or part of this Ordinance shall be adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such adjudication shall not affect the validity of the ordinance as a whole or any section, provision, or part thereof not adjudged invalid or unconstitutional . Section 5. Effective Date . This Ordinance shall be in effect after its final ' passage, approval, and posting as provided by law. On the 9th day of August 1995, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Brown introduced Ordinance No 1995- 198 , and moved that it be given its first reading. The motion was seconded by Councilperson Kern
