ORDINANCE NO. / 99V- / 27 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 57 AND ORDINANCE NO. 138 OF THE ORDINANCES OF TIFFIN, IOWA; SAID ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING RATES, CHARGES AND RULES FOR THE USE SEWER SYSTEM OF TIFFIN, IOWA. AND SERVICE OF THE MUNICIPAL IT ENACTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIFFIN, IOWA: BE purpose of this ordinance is to amend Ordinances No. 57 SECTION I. Purpose. The minimum sewer rates, monthly sewer and No. 138 so as to establish new monthly charges, and rates for users outside of corporate limits for each user of the Tiffin Municipal Sewer System. SECTION II. Amendment. Section VI of: Ordinance 57 and Section II of Ordinance 1985- 138 of the City of Tiffin Ordinances are repealed and the following Section VI is substituted in lieu thereof: SECTION VI. Sewer Rental Charge Set. That there shall be and there are established rates and charges for the use of and for the service supplied the Municipal Sewer System of. the City of Tiffin, Iowa to each user of by as said System based upon the reading of the amount of water consumed, follows: a. ) The monthly sewer rental charge shall be equal to one- half 50%) of the water user fee for each metered user, but not monthly less than $ 10. 00 for each user within the City Limits nor less than 15. 00 for each user outside of the City Limits of Tiffin. The effective date fortthese charges shall be September 1, 1994. SECTION III. Repealer. All ordinances, or parts of ordinances in conflict, with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed. If section, provision, or part of this ordinance SECTION IV. Severability. any be adjudged invalid or unconstitutional, such adjudication shall not affect shall the ordinance as a whole, or any section, provision or part thereof not adjudged invalid or, unconstitutional. SECTION V. Effective. Date. This ordinance shall be in effect after its final passage, approval and posting as provided by law.
