ORDINANCE NO. ffgt/ ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 62 AND AN ORDINANCES OF TIFFIN, IOWA; REPEALING ORDINANCE ' NO.- 139 OF THE ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING RATES, CHARGES AND RULES FOR THE USE SAID SYSTEM OF TIFFIN, IOWA. SERVICE OF THE MUNICIPAL WATER AND CITY COUNCIL OF TIFFIN, IOWA: BE IT ENACTED BY THE is to amend Ordinance No. 62 Purpgse. The purpose of this ordinance SECTION I. and repeal Ordinance No. 139 so as to establish new minimum monthly water rate, gallons rate, bulk sales rate, and sales rate for users outside of additional corporate limits for each user of the Tiffin Municipal Water System. SECTION II. Amendment. Section I of Ordinance 62 and Ordinance 1985- 139 of the City of Tiffin Ordinances are repealed and the following Section I is substituted in lieu thereof: SECTION I. That there shall be and there are established rates and charges for the use of and for the service supplied by the Municipal Water System of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to each user of said System based upon of the amount of water consumed, as follows: the reading 000 or lesser amount, for each metered user a. ) First 2, gallons within the city limits of Tiffin, Iowa, the minimum monthly fee 1 shall be $ 12. 00. b. ) All water used over 2, 000 gallons per month for each metered limits of Tiffin, Iowa, shall be charged in user within the city increments of 1, 000 gallons at $ 5. 50 per 1, 000 gallons. c. ) The City of Tiffin shall charge the minimum monthly fee for f and where multiple dwelling units are unit served, each dwelling served through a single water meter, the City shall credit the meter account with a monthly use of 2, 000 gallons multiplied by the number the meter. The effective date for these rate and fee changes shall be September 1, 1994. SECTION III. Repealer.
