ORDINANCE NO, 1982- 105 AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE 1982 - EDITION OF THE UNIFORM FIRE CODE: Be it enacted by the city council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa: SECTION 1. Purpose. The purpose of this Ordinance is to provide adequate safety from fire by requiring compliance with the Uniform Fire Code. SECTION 2. Adoption of Fire Code. The 1982 edition of the Uniform Fire Code is hereby adopted. SECTION 3. Penalty. Anyone violating the provisions of the Uniform Fire Code shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, be subject to imprisonment, not exceeding thirty 30) days or a fine not exceeding one hundred dollars ($ 100 . 00) . SECTION 4. Repealer.- All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed. SECTION 5. Saving Clause. If any section, provision, or part of this Ordinance shall be adjudged to be invalid or uncon- stitutional, such adjudication shall not affect the validity of of the ordinance as a whole, or any section, provision, or part thereof not adjudged invalid or unconstitutional. SECTION 6. When Effective. This ordinance shall be in effect after its final passage, approval, and publication as provided by law.
