Minutes-06/02/1971

Minutes of Regular Council Meeting, June 2, 1971, Tiffin, Iowa. Mayor Dale Flansburg presiding. Councilmen present. Kandy Kobold, Ned Allen, Don Davis, Glenn Potter, Ted Spivey. Also present was Attorney Ralph Neuzil. The minutes of the May 5, 1971, meeting were read and approved. Kandy Kobold was sworn into office to complete the term of Jerry Michel. Ralph Neuzil presented a resolution from John Hayek representing Voparil Custom Homes Inc. in regard to water lines to apartment building. Glenn Potter made a motion to approve the resolution as read. Ned Allen seconded. Motion approved by roll call vote. The clerk was asked to write to Louis Voparil regarding placement of water line. Ted Spivey made a motion to approve the following cigarette permits. Don Davis seconded. All in favor by roll call vote. Slim's Tavern, Slim's Grocery, Frank's Service, and the Lark. Glenn Potter made a motion to pay the following bills. Ned Allen seconded.
