Ted Spivey nominated Beverly Birtcher to fill the vacancy on the Council. Roger Janssen seconded. Roll Call Vote- Kandy Kobold-Nay, Ted Spivey-abstained, Roger Janssen-Aye, Glenn Potter-abstained. Mayor Stratton voted aye to break the tie. Clerk to contact Mrs. Birtcher on her appointment to the Council and make arrangements to have her sworn into office. Discuss- Making an ice rink on Town's playground. It was decided to go ahead and set one up. Glenn Potter made a motion to pass a resolution to make a permanent transfer of $667.89 from Debt Service Fund to Trust and Agency Fund. Kandy Kobold seconded. All in favor by roll call vote. Kandy Kobold made a motion to approve the State Highway Commission Budget for 1973. Glenn Potter seconded. All in favor by roll call vote. Mayor Stratton made the following appointments: Roger Janssen- Sewer Commissioner Beverly Birtcher- Forrester Clerk to write to the Chicago, Pacific and Rock Island Railroad Co. about complaints received the vibrations from the trains going through Town. The vibrations are more noticeable since the tracks were repaired this summer. Ted Spivey made a motion to accept the following money/ Roger Janssen seconded.
