WATER cont. Miller Well Digging Co. has pumped at the leased well site the past week. They will send a sample of the water to the State Hygienic Labs. The Clerk-Treas. reported that the application for the effluent discharge permit from the Environmental Protection Agency had been posted at all posting places on November 9, 1976. ATTY. NEUZIL - Sales tax appeal date will be set by the State office and the City will be advised of that date. He will obtain an "in-house" appraisal of the Louis Vonaril property by November 15, 1976. He will advise the Johnson County Zoning board of the Council's objections to the re-zoning request for property southwest of tiffin, part of which is within the City limits. The Council agreed to invite Sheriff Hughes to a Council meeting to discuss things of mutual concern between the City and the Sheriff's Dept. Formanek will contact Sheriff Hughes to request his presence at a Council meeting.
