TOWN OF TIFFIN TIFFIN, IOWA 52340 The Tiffin City Council met in regular session on March 9, 1977 at 7:30 p.m. in City Hall. Mayor Brotherton presiding. Councilmembers present at 7:45 p.m. roll call: T. Morgan, R. Formanek, G. Potter and J. Stratton. Absent, R. Janssen. Others present: Atty. Neuzil, Ralph Brown and Ken Harrison. Potter moved to approve the February 23rd budget hearing minutes. Morgan seconded and motion carried unanimously. Morgan moved to approve the February 16th special meeting minutes. Potter seconded and motion carried unanimously. Potter moved to approve the February 9th regular meeting minutes. Morgan seconded and motion carried unanimously. Formanek moved to accept the February financial report. Potter seconded and motion carried unanimously. Potter moved to certify the John Stahmer delinquent sewer account to the Johnson County Auditor for collection on the tax rolls. Formanek seconded and motion carried unanimously. Formanek moved to pass a resolution to adopt the annual budget for the year ending June 30, 1978, as set forth in the Budget Summary Certificate and in the detailed budget in support thereof showing the revenue estimates and apportionment expenditures and allocations to programs for said fiscal year, and the clerk is directed to make the filings required by law and to set up her books in accordance with the summary and details as adopted. Morgan seconded and motion carried unanimously. Formanek moved to adopt the Johnson County Regional Plan for Parks, Recreation, and Open Spaces - First Plan Update - 1977. Potter seconded and motion carried unanimously. Formanek moved to grant a building permit to James Brother- ton with an ordinance variance to allow a storage building to be 15 feet from the front lot line. Stratton seconded and motion carried unanimously. Potter moved to accept the following receipts and pay the following bills. Stratton seconded and motion carried unanimously.
