TOWN OF TIFFIN TIFFIN, IOWA 52340 The Tiffin City Council met in special session on August 2, 1978 at 7:40 p.m. Mayor Pro-Tem Glenn Potter presiding. Councilmembers present: R. Sheridan, D. Madden, T. Morgan. Morgan moved to dispense with the reading of the minutes until next regular meeting. Sheridan seconded and motion carried unanimously. Morgan moved to award the L. L. Pelling Co. a contract to repair the streets for $6,953.31. Madden seconded and motion carried unanimously. Ordinance 1978-77, an ordinance prohibiting parking in restricted areas upon the public streets within the corporate limits of the City of Tiffin, Iowa was read. Sheridan moved to waive the reading second and third times. Morgan seconded and motion carried unanimously. Morgan made the motion to pass ordinance 1978-77. Madden seconded and motion carried unanimously. Ordinance 1978-78, an ordinance regulating the use of the streets, alleys, highways by vehicles of all kinds and describing penalties for violations, was read. A motion to waive the second and third readings was made by Madden, seconded by Sheridan and carried unanimously. Morgan moved to pass ordinance 1978-78, Sheridan seconded and motion carried unanimously. Ordinance 1978-79, public order: an ordinance prohibiting actions against the public order and prescribing penalties therefor was read. Madden moved to waive the second and third readings of ordinance 1978-79, Morgan seconded and motion carried unanimously. Morgan motioned to pass ordinance 1978-79, Madden seconded and motion carried unanimously. Adjournment at 8:17 was called for by Sheridan, seconded by Morgan and carried unanimously. Beverly J.
