Minutes-3 /14/1979

Tiffin City Council held a public hearing on the city zoning ordinances Wednesday, March 14, 1979 at 7:00 p.m. Council members present: Morgan, Potter & Sheridan. Absent: Stratton and Madden. Mayor Formanek presiding called the roll at 7:15 p.m. The minutes of the Feb. 19 1979 Planning & Zoning meeting was read. Council member Madden came in at 7:40 p.m. Motion to defer decision to accept the recommendation of the Planning & Zoning Commission to rezone the area within the boundaries of Grant, Main Second Street and Marengo Road and the lots adjoining the south side of Marengo Road between Roberts Ferry Road and Grant Street to C-1 (commercial) was made by Potter. Motion was seconded by Sheridan and carried unanimously. The public hearing was adjourned at 8:00 p.m. Roger Formanek, Mayor Beth H. Steinke Beth H. Steinke, Clerk-Treas.
