Minutes-01/01/1984

The Tiffin City Council met in special session on Sunday, January 1, 1984 at the Tiffin Fire Station. Mayor Potter called the meeting to order at 10:30 a.m. Councilmen present were Cox, Kobold, Morgan and Spivey. Stevens was absent. Clerk Kern administered oath of office to Mayor and Councilmembers. No one spoke during community forum. Potter appointed the following committee chairmen: Stevens to community protection, Morgan to Humdan Development and to work on grants, Spivey to Home and Community, Potter to policy and administration, Cox to water and to attend civil defense meetings, Kobold to sewer and to attend Planning and Zoning meetings and JGGOC meetings, and to take minutes at any meeting which Kern could not attend. Potter appointed Spivey as mayor pro-tem. Clerk distributed budget materials. Potter set date for budget workshop on Wednesday, January 25, 1984 at 7:00 p.m. Motion Spivey second Cox to adjourn at 11:00 a.m. Carried unanimously. [Signature] Glenn R.
