Potter called meeting to order at 8:30 a.m.
Councilmembers present were Kobold, Morgan, Spivey. Absent were Cox and Stevens. Also present was Jerry Madden.
No one spoke during community forum.
Potter explained that Madden had received a variance from the Board of Adjustment on September 22, 1981 to place a mobile home on the lot at 101 Summerhays Street because water and sewer lines run through the lot making it unfeasible to build a house on the property. At that time, the Board also granted a variance to allow a three foot side yard on the south.
Madden requested a building permit for a 70 foot mobile home.
Motion Spivey second Kobold to deny request for building permit to Jerry Madden for 70 foot trailer on lot at 101 Summerhays Street because lot is 95 feet deep and Zoning Ordinance requires 25 foot front yard and 10 foot back yard. Roll call vote: Morgan, aye; Kobold, aye; Spivey, aye. Carried unanimously.
Madden will ask Board of Adjustment to meet to allow variance to Zoning Ordinance so he can place 70 foot mobile home on 95 foot lot.
Motion Morgan second Spivey to adjourn at 8:35 a.m. Carried unanimously.
