Motion Morgan second Stevens to receive bids for street repair on per square yard basis with estimated 3,100 sq. yd. seal coat, 1,520 sq. yd. of scarify and seal coat and 215 sq. yd. of patch and set date for receipt of bids for July 9, 1984 at 5:00 p.m. authorizing City Engineer Schumacher to receive and open bids on July 9th and announce results and make recommendation at regular meeting On July 11, 1984, and to make contract stipulation that work be completed on or before August 17, 1984. Carried unanimously. Motion Cox second Stevens to approve request by Hawkeye Amusement for cigarette permit at Lark. Carried unanimously. Motion Stevens second Cox to approve request by Ted Spivey for building permit for deck at 110 Railroad Street. Carried unanimously. Motion Spivey second Stevens to waive fee for special meeting to anyone on agenda since main reason for calling meeting was request by Service Enterprise Corp. Carried unanimously.
