Animal licensing ordinance was placed on next month's agenda.
Motion Spivey second Cox to authorize mayor to sign contract between City of Tiffin and Lawrence Ryan for animal control officer as presented. Carried unanimously.
Mayor reported that he talked to Judy Beckler about paving the parking lot and driveway at P&B Auto Body Shop which is in an industrial (M-1) zone. Becklers intend to pave when rock quits settling and would like to tie the project in with the City's paving project this summer. Council consensus to wait until summer project.
Attorney reported that the resolution certifying delinquent waterworks bills to property tax rolls at 221 Main Street (formerly owned by James Brotherton) had not been processed at the court house in time to appear on the tax rolls before taxes were paid by Louis Voparil (new owner). Attorney suggested writing a letter to Mr. Voparil and asking him to pay the $215.60 in delinquent waterworks bills certified to the property tax rolls after he paid the taxes. Council consensus to instruct attorney to write letter to Mr. Voparil concerning delinquent waterworks bills certified to property tax rolls at 221 Main Street.
Attorney reported that Louis Voparil's lawsuit had been dismissed last year, but his attorneys have scheduled a hearing to ask to reopen the case. Attorney was doubtful that case would be reopened.
