Minutes January 14, 1987 Hart reported that approximately $25,000.00 to $30,000.00 will need to be borrowed to complete well project. Hart reported that Stoffer estimates cost of a lot in Gracehill Estates to be around $20,000.00 with all of the city's requirements and would like to reduce price to $13,000.00. Stoffer will probably ask for variance to zoning ordinance to allow for smaller lots. Hart stated that Stoffer's estimate is too high. Hart recommended that council adopt an engineering standards specification ordinance in order to have consistent cost figures in the future. Council directed Hart to bring information on such proposal a meeting. Motion Flansburg second Stratton to approve clerk-treasurer's reports. Carried unanimously. Motion Runge second Stoner to approve bills and accept receipts. Carried unanimously. Tom Morgan presented cost information for beginning a First Responders program in Tiffin and asked for help in funding from the council. Item will be placed on February agenda.
