Text read by the vision model; check the PDF for anything that matters.Rugger: Not now. Early next spring or next fall we'll add another station. TNT is starting up on basic for no extra cost. Any more pay channels is questionable for a town this size. Basic service has Kirkwood channel 28 with information and classes. The VHS channel has had too much trouble. No doubt this will be added, but the date isn't definite.
Stratton: I agree with Morgan.
Eggers: The people are more than anxious to get it going. Would rather have the guaranteed rate for one year.
Rugger: The only reason we'd ever raise the rate is if the programming goes up. Everything is exactly the same as for Oxford. I'd have to change everything in the computer if Tiffin was different.
Stoner: When does the one year start?
Rugger: When everyone is hooked up and the system is completed.
Eggers: What about service problems for the system?
Rugger: Business hours are 9 to 5. We always have a recorder on. That's covered in the ordinance. Valley doesn't have an office in this area.
Stratton: They have an 800 number to call.
Soivey: I'd like to see Rugger do it because he's local, but I don't think the 3 percent is asking too much. I agree with the mayor.
Potter: If something goes down, the city will be called a lot, me or the clerk. If he's paying taxes to Tiffin, maybe I'm wrong here. Other companies pay taxes to the town, too.
