No odor with process. Motion Stratton second Bartels to ask Nutri-Ject Systems, Inc. for estimate for removal of all sludge at sewer plant. Carried unanimously.
Michel presented letter concerning Ordinance No. 147. Clerk has always charged a separate fee for permit for house and garage. (Currently, $100.00 for house plus $35.00 for garage.) Tina Walls questioned this policy and clerk reported that this is the first time anyone raised a question concerning this procedure. Morgan stated that she felt that this was not the intent of the new ordinance. Attorney stated in letter that ordinance has been properly enforced in the past, but council could clarify it further or amend it. Council consensus to amend ordinance so that only one fee is charged for one building project, i.e. a house and garage built at the same time would be charged the fee for the house only. Item will appear on next month's agenda.
