Motion Brown, second Gericke to authorize Hart Engineering for Phase II of Sidewalk/Trail work. Ayes: Brown, Bartels, Gericke, Kern and Walls. Motion carried. Condition of city street lights was discussed by council. Tom Bigelow informed council that the Volunteer Fire Department will be requesting additional funding to help with purchase of a new fire truck. Report was given to council regarding need for interior painting and cleaning of the city water tower. The council agreed this work should be completed at a cost of approximately $33,000.00. Motion Brown, second Walls to accept the clerk and treasurer's reports. Ayes: Brown, Walls, Bartels, Gericke and Kern. Motion carried. Motion Gericke, second Brown to accept receipts and pay bills.
