Tiffin City Planning and Zoning Commission July 2, 1997 The Tiffin City Planning and Zoning Commission was brought to order at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 2, 1997 at the Tiffin Fire Station. Council members present: Sandy Huedepohl, Mike Ryan and Terry Richardson. Members absent: Manzel Berlin and Dan O'Halloran. Also present: Mike Singer, Mayor Glenn Potter and Councilmember Jim Bartels. Motion Ryan, second Richardson to approve previous minutes as printed. Ayes: Ryan, Huedepohl, and Richardson. Absent: Berlin and O'Halloran. Motion carried. Mike Singer spent time showing members the newest two mile review map for Tiffin. The Planning and Zoning asked Mike Singer to see if he could arrange a meeting with officials of North Liberty to help with future growth plans in the area north of Tiffin City boundaries. Discussion concerning new Standard Designs for new construction. Hart Engineering has reviewed the proposal for the city. Motion Ryan, second Huedepohl that the Planning and Zoning Commission recommend approval of the new standards for the City of Tiffin pending further review by Hart Engineering. The new standards will bring greater conformity to building rules for the cities of Coralville, Iowa City and possibly other small communities of Johnson County. Ayes: Ryan, Richardson, Huedepohl.
